A thought. Midnight Mass. Back in the old days hands would have been clasped in prayerful adoration. Now the grasping of smart phone's, recording his Eminence, in a technological sea of blue rectangular illumination. Fashionably crazy.......

A huge flock of ravens settled in a neighbors yard. A few sat in my front yard tree, while waiting for the entire flock's arrival. In Folklore, a group is often called an "unkindness" or "conspiracy," reflecting their historical association with mystery, betrayal, or treachery. I am VERY intrigued.

This day, 8 yrs ago my mom passed 8 days short her 101st birthday. I cancelled her cake. A strange action, proving how life flips on a dime. SO my takeaway? Live IT every day. Live whatever IT is that gives you something, means something, stay in the nano second. That is all any of us actually have.

I've a skunk I seem to accidentally bump into in my yard. Both times complete surprise's, w/interaction less than 1' apart, side by side. My bird's sunflower seeds are the draw. We acknowledge each other & then go about our business, unimpeded. We both practice good manners! I am a skunk whisperer?
