Everything is terrible but one tiny bright spot is I've been noticing people going out of their way to be nicer. Random young renter a few doors down insisted on helping me finish shoveling, today while trying to get bags balanced on shoulders over fat coat a stranger offered a ride home, etc.

One of the good things about getting >1.5 feet of snow while living on a narrow city street is that all the shoveling means no time to doom scroll. And it's ok if your entire caloric intake today so far has been coffee, waffles, and hot chocolate.
