There are about 6400 votes in King County left to count, with 1700 in challenge. No idea how many of either of those are in Seattle. Anyone telling you they know how an unknown but completely nonrandom sample of that size will play out is blowing smoke. It’s a tossup. (I’d rather be Katie, though.)

Sometimes you know which Senators will be remembered by history. Moynihan, Kennedy, Dole, Thurmond, Inouye, Sanders, Warren. For one reason or another, they matter. I look at this list and think, "I will never remember any of these people. Except one wore a hoodie. They had power and did nothing."

Editing an old PDF in Acrobat, I fumed at how jerky it was. I blamed it on the old file...then I had an idea. I found the Preferences for Generative AI, which flipped on in an update. I turned it off. The file sped up by 80%. All the jerkiness gone. Which is also the effect of turning off AI bros.
