I love chatting with folks, though it's sometimes hard to find time. I have also been wanting to do something even more broadly impactful. So I'm trying something new: if you donate to one of these education charities, I will go out of my way to speak with you.

I kind of miss the days when I was coding with a programming language and enjoying it. The language itself, few libraries, and that's it. Now we have much more libraries/frameworks/abstractions, and it is great. Everything feels "magic". But I had much more fun before... Is it just me?
