Yesterday was disappointing, as Republicans passed HB636, which is a process to ban books in public schools. NEW: North Carolina Democratic Party asks a federal court to stop the state Board of Elections from proceeding with a ballot curing process that could potentially disenfranchise 5k military/overseas voters in the state Supreme Court race.

Agree--its an utterly lawless opinion from the NC Supreme Court majority. Looking forward to the federal courts dismantling this charade.
