Ruby red Florida showed up today. At least 1,000 at this protest in Pinellas County. #NoKings This is what Democracy looks like.

This is important information that the general public needs to be reminded of regularly.

Why aren’t we, is a very good question. Instead of the farce of a military parade, spend that money on something like this. It would create jobs and eventually help to fight pollution as more cars would be off the road.

We need to be sure that the GOP doesn’t stay in control of the house or the Senate come midterms. We need to be sure we turn out and support the Democrats who run against them.

Is he writing a book about the current lunatic residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I sure hope so. Now that book I would buy. Hopefully someone is and that they won’t wait until he leaves office to publish it. You won’t ever see JT’s current book in my house.

Decided to read #VinceFlynn series with Mitch Rapp. I am on the third book in the series. Vince started writing them in the late 90’s. In some ways VF was a bit of a psychic. Great reads for sure. Really an interesting time to be reading them.

In Mexico with the fam and burned through booth of the Linda Gardner books I brought. Started this book which is the 3rd in Lori Armstrongs Mercy Gunderson series which are excellent reads. I read all books in chronological order. No Mercy is the 1st book. Highly recommended.

Saw this today and it was fantastic. Timothy Chalamet channeled Bob Dylan. Ed Norton was great as Pete Seeger. Not surprised that crowd was well over 50. If you are a fan of Dylan I believe you will enjoy it.

We are living in a stressful time and I have no idea how long it will last. Because it doesn’t seem that there are many who are listening to their better angels. Norman Rockwell born in 1894 did listen to his. His paintings showed us our humanity. Thank you Bluesky for showing me like minds.

Currently reading this book that was published in 2001. It is about a school shooting and the disturbing trend that was being set. What is really disturbing is that this trend got worse, and we haven’t made any progress in sensible gun control and making mental health services available affordable

A friend is about to have open heart surgery and I can’t be there so I crocheted a blanket and I am sending him some Hershey Kisses and the blanket. It is as close as I can get to giving him hugs and kisses without being there.

I am not watching the news. However I do watch Rachel Maddow. Last night she shared that nepotism is alive and well in the world of 45. If you are not related as long as you have billions of $ you too can be a part of the dumpster fire he is creating that we will have to endure. This sucks.

When will they wake up. We are not sending canaries into a coal mine. Thoughts and prayers are not going to solve this problem.
