"Oh, I've been having a really, really great few weeks!" She's been on quite the lucky streak lately. Sadly, it's the kind of joy she has to be reaaaally careful about sharing. "But don't worry. I'm sure the quiet won't last long."

"I haven't heard from you in a while! How's Charlie been?"

"Sure does!" Just like that, she starts speaking normally again. "Gotta admit, you are not as much of a bad boy as I thought you were gonna be. It's a little disappointing," by how frank she is about it, she most likely doesn't mean for it to be taken personally. +

"Yeah." She laughs. "YEAH." Louder this time. "I AM really pretty!"

"How about ya prove it?" What's the term dear Baxter says a lot again? "For research." ...She's not trying to provoke him on purpose. She just wants to hear it again and agree.

"Why are we banning king bad boy and the glowing brick?"

She stares at him for a second with a contemplative smile on her face. Then, "Earth calls you the king of lies."

She pulls out the prettiest jar of... eyeballs... seemingly out of nowhere. It's almost as big as she is, but Niffty doesn't seem to be having any trouble presenting it. They are very much 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭, if the blood pooling at the bottom was any indication. +

"Ooooh, a present!" She momentarily drops her broom to take it from his hands. Peeking inside the box, she excitedly asks, "what's in these? Chocolate-covered eyeballs?"

"Charlie said something about compliments and saying them to yourself," she doesn't get the point of it all, but apparently, even the hotel staff need to participate in exercises typically reserved for the guests. "Accepting them means they're true."

"Hi! I'm Niffty." And she's not a little girl, she thinks to herself. She's a grown lady. "Are you a new guest? Better get yourself checked in. Otherwise, Al's gonna throw you out!"

Niffty's been observing her for a while. Miss ma'am always has her hands full, but never to this extent. "Hey, V!" She greets her with a smile—Niffty heard that she changed her name recently, so she isn't too sure what to call her. "You look like you could use a break."

"What's not going on?"

She can't do anything. Vaggi is watching.

"Huh." That's quite a bit to take in. She has no idea what he means by any of that, but all those words combined come off a certain way— one that she decides /must/ be what he meant. That's a lot of words to say pretty."

"Working for Alastor is a lot of fun."

Uh-oh. From what she knows, the sight of a glass could only mean one of two things. It's either Alastor is in an incredibly good enough mood to deem today worthy of some sort of celebration, or things are going very, very bad for him. Bad enough to be drinking out here in the open all alone! +

She cares. She cares a ton! Lately, Al hasn't been so easy to find. And bringing up how odd he's been acting recently doesn't sound like the best idea, either. She knows something's wrong. What she doesn't know is that he's hurt— and she's clueless as to what extent. Will he get mad if she asks?

It's her 30-minute break. ...And she's spending it by doing nothing. Actually, she seems to be thinking. What could she be thinking about?

"I wanna clean." She says, short and simple, before he can even finish asking. She can't exactly do anything else, nor does she want to. The hotel needs to be tidied up everyday, from top to bottom, side to side, and in crevices that shall not be named. Why would she want to do anything else?

"That you guys tend to have the most fans on the social media! I wouldn't know a whole lot about that, of course." Alastor doesn't like modern media, so she chooses to stay away from them. Most of the time.
