Claims that Transformers Energon Universe is "edgy" are always funny coming from IDW1 fans. You thought the torture death camps were "showing the realities of war" but a guy getting ripped for parts is "too much"? Starscream killing a human with his bare hands is too much but not pressure explosion?

I saw someone complain about copyright law making it impossible for writers to read fanfic of their work... Look, I love fanfic and I actively write fanfic... I would not to read fanfic of my own work at all. Pointing to copyright is such a great and safe way to turn down reading a rando's crackfic.

There are some frustrating endings in the Transformers franchise. One of the most frustrating is the Lost Light double ending. The "Megatron goes free after killing billions of organic and mechanical life" one is annoying enough, but also the ending where he turns himself is real frustrating.

Why I don't trust people calling every new show or continuity a G1 reboot: on another site, someone is trying to tell me that the 2019 IDW Transformers run was a G1 reboot "what other continuity is it supposed to be?" and "it uses G1 characters". What is this reasoning???

I need people to stop lying about new Transformers shows having anything to do with G1 when almost everything about them is clearly pulled from the Aligned universe. Yes, I'm looking at you, Earthspark, Cyberverse, and TFOne. None of y'all are G1 beyond superficial similarities.

I've been reading the UK issues along with the US stuff in my Marvel Transformers compendium and it feels like the UK writers really amp up how aggressive/confrontational the Autobots are. US Prowl is thoughtful and considerate of humanity, but UK Prowl is angry and proposes all-out assault plans.
