Looking back on this series, the #LetsGoOilers lost because they got slaughtered on the special teams. That was a huge reason for losing most of the games

I see lots of posts about the time Nurse played tonight & about Knoblach being an incompetent coach. First off, Nurse was +1 (Bouchard -3 as was McDavid) & his overall numbers tonight were better than Bouchard. Many of the #LetsGoOilers just didn't have it. I have no issue with KKs coaching either.

There are years that the #LetsGoOilers go home early in the playoffs and I'm ok with that. This year is not one of those years. They are a better team in reality than the team showed up to play this series. They just didn't play with the same desire they did the last 3 years.

The #LetsGoOilers accomplish what the Stars did tonight with matching 5-2 losses and 4-2 series losses. The #Oilers were just not good enough to win this year. Maybe a longer summer rest will help for next year. That and some changes and maybe finally getting a starting goalie?
