I think what annoys me about people being against AI is they’re not looking at it long term. The thing I hear about their gripes is that it’s “bad for the environment”, but I see a much more serious problem. The over reliance on AI hinders our desire and ability to create anything.

I’m a fan of books and other media with abstract ideas. I think it’s very fun and, at times, very enlightening.

You know, now that I’ve played (and loved) the Resident Evil games, it’s pretty exciting to get hyped for this new entry along with the other fans!

PAC-MAN WORLD 2: RE-PAC COMPLETE! That was a very good remaster! I loved the extra challenges and remastered boss battles! Spooky was pretty tough! I’m glad they made him tougher! And I really appreciate the added cutscenes!

This was the year of RPGs for me……. again!

I tried watching TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze and I just couldn’t get invested in it. It’s just too goofy. I remember not liking it as a child. As dark as the first one was, I always thought THAT one was awesome. After the success of the first film, they went for a broader audience. I don’t like this

I’m watching The Twilight Zone (1959) and I’m really enjoying it. Not sure if I’m just sick of today’s terrible writing, but I’ve grown to just enjoy the simple stories in this show.

People say they don’t want rereleases of old games, but I’m all for it! They’re so much better than most of today’s games! And I’ll continue to buy older titles!

The Mimic is probably the most fascinating enemy in RPGs for me. I think they originated from Dungeons and Dragons? Every time I encounter them in an RPG, I DO NOT take them lightly. They almost always have debilitating spells and extremely high attack power.

I also picked up the Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 rerelease. $70 is still pricey for older games, but these are phenomenal games that I love. I still stand by what I said when I say I’d rather spend $70 on this than fucking Tears of the Kingdom or $80 on Mario Kart World. Good games have that effect.

Had to pick up Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac! I wouldn’t say it’s the best game ever, but I remember actually enjoying it back on the GameCube! I’ll play it when I’m done with Dragon Quest III HD!

I think it’s pretty interesting that Conker and Berri were based on Roger Rabbit and Jessica Rabbit. Disney hates Jessica and ignores her and now Microsoft hates Berri and ignores her!

And another thing! Mario Kart World being 80 fucking dollars is just INSANE. What I’ve seen (and heard), the game isn’t worth more than $60. Doing the bare minimum and charging up the ass for it isn’t gonna cut it anymore. The higher the price Nintendo sets, the more I expect them to deliver.

I completely forgot about that Nintendo Direct! Honestly, it kinda sucked. Nothing impressed me except for the Mario Galaxy bundle. What kills any hype for me is the fact that almost all third party titles are Game Key Cards. I love collecting for Switch, but Switch 2…. MAN.

I’ll always adore Sonic CD’s soundtrack. To hear this in the 90s was such a surreal and special experience. It felt like I was hit with a huge wave of nostalgia along with this melancholic wonder. It’s a feeling that only a specific year in gaming can achieve. VERY specific.

When Nintendo DOES release their own physical OSTs, it’s always some pain in the ass way! I got the DK64 CD by renewing my subscription to Nintendo Power! If they decided to release an OST today, they’d do it in the most convoluted bullshit way possible!

Got myself the Super Mario RPG soundtrack! Square holds partial rights to it so Nintendo can’t do shit about it! It has the complete soundtrack for both the Super Famicom and remastered versions! I wish Nintendo weren’t such dickheads when it came to releasing their OSTs!
