also i generally embrace the beauty of people reading your work and interpreting it in new ways but for the record i did not create, nor do i endorse, the term “digital cultural capital” 😂 we’ve got enough forms of capital out there in the world already

i love how becker (2000) talks about audience awareness of an improvised set, in the sense that some audiences knows when the risks in that musical moment are high or instead familiar territory - almost like synchronization

the more i read becker, the more mesmerized by his writing i become
