What did you do for your mental health today? My husband & I tried a new coffee shop & went to pick up plants & dirt. My teenagers helped me plant the flowers in the planter for the little free library & introverted me was friendly with the neighbors while we were out front to work on community.

You never know what your work will mean to someone. Catherine O'Hara & the Schitt's Creek cast helped ease my anxiety during COVID. Before every NOC shift, I got ready while watching Schitt's Creek. The love and laughter carried me through a dark time. She’s a legend who will truly be missed.

I woke up early so I could start my paper… so far I haven't even made it out of bed. This day is not looking very productive.

I just finished an 8hr training on conducting research trials on humans (informed consent, conflict of interest, vulnerable populations). Two thoughts: 1. How DARE Meridith ruin Derricks research on Alzheimer's treatment. I was always offended but now that I see what goes into it? The audacity.

The real reason I go to work. He's just a sweet baby and needs kibbles and wet food… and treats.
