Hi all. In the spirit of fabulous photos of ocean critters and #oceanWildlife here is a timid Blue Spotted Ray from Heron Island on the #GreatBarrierReef. We were there running a Stanford class surveying sea urchins among the rocks. There were no sea urchins but these critters showed up.

#oceanwildlife comes bursting out of a loggerhead turtle nest in #kaligisland Indonesia. These were gathered up to help them crest a dune to get to the waves. But just look at how hard they’re working to get to the sea
