My fourth grader ran for the student council this year at his new school. He said there is so much bad stuff going on. If we all just do something, we can make a difference. He's using his office for good. What happened to so many of these other guys that they're in it for themselves and for power?

Why is a diabetic not an addict for needing insulin but a chronic pain sufferer needing pain meds to function is? I now have high blood pressure and a seizure disorder. My pain meds were cancelled not because of abuse but because the system decided we had enough. Untreated pain caused my disorder .

Being an adult is weird. Just met a new friend and exchanged numbers bonding over finding something we have to barely cook to feed our kids at nearly nine o'clock on a Friday and exhausted.

📚📖Teaching someone to read is like giving them the keys to the world. It's such a privilege to watch my 5 year old just take off on letters, sounds, words and sentences. She has lots of books she's able to read to me now. It is one of the best things that you witness as a parent 💖

Yeah... I won't be doing that. They get back the energy they give and just a little bit extra. Gingers can't do anything just a little. It's always extra with us. Plus they didn't even say please.

I picked my son up for a dentist appointment. There was a girl crying in the office because her parents can't leave work to bring her clothes and she got dress coded for pj type material on pants Kids don't buy clothes or wash them. Just teach them. Take them as they are and teach them.

The new form of tipping for folks in so many customer service jobs is the surveys or ratings in the apps, on receipts, or after phone calls. Many employers use those for raises, bonuses, or even to keep your job. If people don't fill them out at all- people get fired. Just something to think about.
