My current LLC was formed in 2024, so I turned in my report and paid the fee last week. This process was easier than finding lighting to install in the latest residential rehab I'm working on! It's a cutie, but the lower-than-usual ceilings have given me quite a challenge!

Dawn Rattan has done an amazing job serving as Trustee for Johnson County Community College! Not only has the college thrived because of her contributions but all of Johnson County. Couldn't be more grateful to have her support!

A clerks visit took us to Mound City in Linn County where we learned about the James Montgomery Ballot Box and then finished off the day speaking to some amazing folks with the Franklin County Democrats in Ottawa!

The Constitution could not be clearer: the authority for administering our elections belongs to the states, not the federal government. Any attempt to remove state and local control over elections is a massive threat to our federal system of government. I will never let that happen in Kansas.

The new bill introduced to move city and school elections to even-numbered years does not have the support of cities and school districts it would directly effect. I agree with their concerns, and I want to see Kansans continue to have the opportunity to vote every single year.
