One of the things I love about the queer community is how we build chosen families. We take care of each other. Preparedness at its core. From Stonewall to the AIDS crisis. We’re facing scary challenges right now. But we will make it through. Together.

Two shootings unfolded: one in Utah, where Charlie Kirk was shot while speaking at UVU, and another at Evergreen High School in Denver, Colorado, where three students were critically injured. These tragedies may look different on the surface, but at their core is the same urgent reality.
