Last night’s turning point was the 1st Tampa goal. Not critical of MSL. Just confused. What was his thinking putting on Struble (#6 D) and Demidov (rookie) in the dying minutes of a period while leading by 2? Shouldn’t he have put on some veteran defensive players to protect the lead? 🤷🏻‍♂️

When I first started here, naturally, there were more retweets- likes at Twitter, but I persisted. I've kept Twitter open for my bosses because success is measured in page views. After a short time, it was equal. Now? 40-140 here. 16-60 there. Persist because it's dying there. Also, peace.

A few observations on last night’s game. 1-The #Habs sure know how to organize a pre-game show. Probably the best in the league. 2-The Dach line was dominant. Good for them. 3-The Xhekaj and Struble pair are doing great so no need to rush Dobson back before he’s absolutely recovered from his injury

Just finished listening to the Basu&Godin bonus podcast and they gave me an interesting perspective on the #Habs current situation. Firstly, no goals from the Suzuki line at 5vs5, and secondly, no Dobson. Yet going home tied 1-1. I’d say that’s a great position to be in.

Another good game wrap up from Lori. Splitting Evans and Danault and maybe moving Kapanen to the wing may be in order when they play at home Friday. Maybe it’s just me but I find Kapanen has been a bit lost at centre for a while now and giving him less responsibility could be good to get him going

So the #Habs won in spite of the refereeing. I’m pretty disgusted by the way the refs tried to give the game to the Lightning. It was that obvious. That’s all I’ll say for now. I’ll have time to cool down overnight.

Watching the @arponbasu.bsky.social and @magodin.bsky.social podcast has put doubts in my mind that the #Habs can beat the Lightning. According to them, lines 2 and 3 will be overmatched and the top 4 D’s also with Dobson out. Damn! Still hoping for a #Habs win but no longer confident it happens.

Bruins are leading the Devils 4-0 latest in the 3rd so it looks like they’ll win a 1st wildcard. So Bruins vs Sabres and Sens vs the Hurricanes.

Great column Jack "Now Suzuki belongs to an elite club with Pete Mahovlich, Mats Naslund, Steve Shutt and Guy Lafleur." I saw all of these players throughout the years and I can say, except for Lafleur, Suzuki is second to none with the others and impacts the game as much or more as they did
