Not even backups could save bme from the blunder that is myself. I needed to reformat my drives so it could work with Linux better, so I backed everything into my NAS server, but I somehow I told it to mirror what I had in my PC so far. meaning it deleted everything else in the process... great.

Cool little face rig test. this should help speed up animating the mouth when the character talks. Sadly I didn't think to set the mouth layout the same way for non-villagers, so I gotta fix that later on. I'll leave the tutorial in the comments if you wanna replicate this. #AC #ACNH #Blender #B3d

90% of making an armature rig for animating in Blender is either trying to figure out why the bones aren't boning or why the model looks like they just got springlocked. on an unrelated note, I finally finished my IK/FK switch for my AC character.

I am very happy with how my animal crossing rig is turning out in blender. Compared to my first version of the rig (in the comments), it's a major improvement! The best part about i't though, is that it doesn't "float" anymore. Only downside is that it's more used to use in-game animations. #ACNH
