Now THAT’S cold! 🧊 🥶 🧊 Bluefors, the world leader in cryogenic cooling systems, has announced their plans to purchase helium-3 from Interlune over a 10-year period starting in 2028.

Does anyone else feel a chill? 🧊 The Washington Post science journalist Kasha Patel just broke the news that Finland-based Bluefors has purchased tens of thousands of liters of helium-3 from Interlune for delivery starting in 2028 and continuing through 2037.

DANG! Seeing the collective brainpower assembled at #S4— the Seattle Space Superiority Summit—crystallized what a juggernaut we’ve built in the Greater Seattle area.

We might have missed the assignment—but we nailed the mission. The Interlune team went to “Paint and Sip.” The facilitators said to paint “little happy trees.” All we heard was “lunar regolith.” Off-topic, but on-brand.

Today we announced details of our plans for our grant from the Texas Space Commission. Interlune will create a Lunar Regolith Simulant Center of Excellence near NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

Big news! We just announced our first lunar mission. Interlune will fly a multispectral camera aboard the Astrolab FLIP rover later this year. The camera was built, tested, and developed in partnership with the NASA Ames Research Center, and will help us identify helium-3 on the Moon.
