Well, between the 2 hour delay for the schools and a house still full of people, I struggled to concentrate. So, I started quilting my husband's office quilt. #quiltsky #artquilt

We topped out at 15.5" and a 2 hour delay for the schools today. I *should* be able to get to my studio by noon. 🤣 I have plans for a mountain view art quilt. #quiltsky

Up to 14" now. I hope the kids are back to school tomorrow. I want to get back into my sewing studio and it's hard to concentrate on my work when the house is full of people. #quiltsky

And it's snowing again... #quiltsky don't come at me for using this ruler. It's old and the numbers started coming off, I got a new one, can't use it for quilting anymore, so it's my designated snow measuring ruler. 🤣

It's been snowing since noon(ish). We are up to 10.5" and it's still snowing. #newhampshire

8" and still snowing. The kid took the dogs out for a quick potty break and then had to bring the little not fluffy baby back inside in his jacket.

Ok. I'm back in the studio today working on a wall hanging quilt for my husband's office. He was a wildlife biologist and likes critters. I saw the plaid fabric at the quilt guild freebie table and instantly imagined this piece. #quiltsky #artquilt

Despite the perfect weather for sewing, I've been resting for the past 2 days. My insurance stopped covering my biologic so I had to start a bio-similar and now I can barely keep my eyes open and I'm in pain. 😞 RA sucks.

The 2 hour delay for the schools is putting a damper on my ability to sew... As is my husband calling out after sliding down the interstate for a mile (in his defense, he leaves for work at 4am and the roads weren't cleared yet).

I finished my sewing studio reorganization today. I took out the dresser, gave the TV to my daughter, and made myself a design wall for that space (the fabric is just for the pic, they don't blend well LOL). #quiltsky

We picked up a hamster ball for Lotus and now she's taunting Patch (and also ramming into Patch's paws). LOL

If cats have 9 lives, how many do hamsters get? Search and rescue (Mom and Dad) were called in at 4:30am after Patch (the cat) had somehow gotten Lotus' (the hamster) location, knocked the cage off a cliff (dresser), and Lotus made a run for her life under the baseboard heater.

I'm not used to the week between Christmas and New Year's being this busy! LOL I have quite a bit of work waiting for the new year. #quiltsky #artquilt

I started a new piece but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. In other news... This piece, "Dancing Lights," may be going on display at a local fabric shop after it's quilted and bound. ❤️

Odie's PJ's arrived today! He is 12 and doesn't tolerate the cold here in New Hampshire.

I'm trying to make a sample piece of what NOT to do for my next quilt piecing class... It's HARD! I keep trying to fix the mistakes. 🤣 #quiltsky

We took the 2 youngest sledding today. They had a great time. The cold sapped all my spoons for the day though. Worth it to see my kids happy. (Another video in the comments)

Final night of Chanukah 💙

I just finished wrapping all the Chanukah gifts. Then I sorted them into individual boxes (1 per child) and wrapped again. Pic of Patch, the attempted hamster murderer, for attention. 🤣
