Como es habitual, la recopilación de novedades D100 de @runeblogger.bsky.social da para descubrir, explorar e ilusionarse durante varios días. Como el periodico pero de noticias buenas. Pero yo he venido a presumir de amigos, porque me alegra mucho que su trabajo vea la luz y tenga éxito.

El trabajo me lleva de nuevo a Madrid la primera semana de Junio. Sé que es con mucha antelación, pero es como yo lo hago... Si alguno estáis por allí esos días y os apetece quedar a charlar con un café o una caña, decídmelo. !Me haría ilusión coincidir en carne y hueso!

Volvimos con la partida de DnD y los aventureros hablaron con Mork la Zurda, jefa del clan de Las Furias. Accedió a participar en el concilio para elegir al líder de las tribus unificadas. Me dio pena que nadie viese la refrencia de los jefes orcos llamados Mork y Gork. Gran decepción...

Mientras escribo mis cosas de Pendragón, pienso en los otros proyectos que tengo abiertos. Uno es "Life on Mars", y en un arrebato pensé que igual debería hacerlo con FATE en lugar de BRP. Pero no, ya se me ha pasado. El BRP más sencillo del mundo es el que le pega. Vuelvo a estar contento.

A fantastic moment indeed, but "Go back to the abyss prepared for you!" clearly establishes the existence of a purpose made abyss. What abyss? Who created it? When? Who else will end up there? Also, it says "the abyss", not "Abyss"; are there more than one? So many questions without answers!

Year 3 out of 4 finished. I am on fire! Thanks to the break for St Patrick's day. But it will not be possible to progress at this pace the rest of the week. Which is not bad, there are some things I might want to change for Year 4, and some time to reflect on them will be good. #ttrpg #Pendragon

I have made good progress with the "Dark Deeds Campaign" for #ttrpg #Pendragon. Year 1 of 4 is reviewed, corrected, and stocked with more art than I normally do. It looks good to me! I also think the adventure for that year would play well independently from the rest of the campaign.

Por fin he retomado la escritura de #lodelrol con algo para Pendragón. Un poco, pero poco a poco también se termina. Y he encontrado un manuscrito (literal, de mi puño y letra) con cuatro páginas de notas para otra aventura (también Pendragón). !Olvidé que la tenía!. Tiene drama y sorpresa final.

Mis comentarios eran con el pdf, pero ahora que ha llegado el libro veo que hay un mapa con las regiones, poblaciones y casas nobiliarias en la contraportada. El pdf no tiene portada ni contraportada, empieza directamente en el interior del libro.

Years ago I did some research on the Cold War for my #ttrpg writing. I don't remember if the release of classified documents prompted me to it or whether it was a coincidence. I checked some that I thought could provide inspiration or useful information. Most were interesting, some terrifying too.

I have also started reviewing my draft for "The Adventure of the Knight of the White Moon" (a mouthful, I should consider an alternative), for Pendragon. This will require a lot of small changes too... I see why I originally decided against publishing it. Let's see how I feel when I finish it.

I have finally finished reviewing the Spanish draft of my Call of Cthulhu scenario. To say that "a few changes are needed" would be the understatement of the year (my wife burst out laughing when she saw them). It was clearly not my best day when I translated it from the original in English!

Lo de jugar el "Proyecto Sierra Nevada" va despacio. De momento hay un personaje, otro está pensado (pero no hecho) y haremos un tercero mañana. Del cuarto aún no se sabe nada. Así es la vida... Si conseguimos jugar antes de Navidades me doy con un canto en los dientes. Pero la partida está lista.

Nos quejamos de la letra pequeña en algunos libros de rol, pero otros juegan en ligas aparte: "The clear text", anuncia el libro. Véase ejemplo del "clear text", escrito por un ejército de hormigas bañadas en tinta negra.

Playing Warhammer Total War 3 auto-resolving battles is a whole different game. I have finally managed to finish the campaign I was doing with the Vampire Counts. Turn 289! End Times triggered around turn 110ish. This is probably the longest campaign that I have played so far in this game.
