Honestly my biggest nitpick about the rising usage of the words yuri and sapphic is that it’s all rooted in the idea that the word Lesbian is dirty. Yuri makes it sound ooo so cute. Sapphic makes it sound ohh so pretty. Lesbian? Yucky. That’s like the porn genre. And I despise that so deeply.
