Crazy afternoon! I'm on my way to a store that's been robbed about 5 times in the last few years and I'm joking with the person with me that there's a chance they'll be robbed while we're there. We pull into the parking lot and there's a police car in front of it. It had just been robbed again!

Normally I use an all-purpose cleaner. But when I'm depressed I use a no-purpose cleaner. It's just an empty bottle. They say it's a metaphor.

You don't know what it's like to sit in the defendant's chair with the entirety of the government's resources pointed at you until you've experienced it for yourself. Our rights exist for a reason. Know your rights and exercise them.

Was talking with a grocery store employee the other night and the issue of theft came up. If they catch the thief they can't re-stock the item. If they don't then it's lost anyway. It all just seems so pointless.

I don't know if I've mentioned it before but the Munchkins certainly had efficient bureaucracies. The Coroner had his declaration in moments. The Lollipop Guild and Lullaby League were quick with their ceremonies and presentations. It was a highly organized and unionized society I suppose.

The problem with conspiracy theories is that they're usually half right. People ARE conspiring to make a buck, or to commit a crime, or just be mean to someone. And sometimes all 3 at once. The result can be sinister but the motivation is usually mundane.

Day 15: I have given up trying to figure out which way the fitted sheet fits on the bed and simply bundled it under me and fallen flat out of exhaustion. I have to pee.
