Week 3 of the revamped and relaunched Spinner Rack of Random Comic Book Readin' included roller skating, a school music concert, and way too many meetings. Thankfully, there were also comics. π

I can't explain it. I was a huge fan of Star Wars and comic books as a kid, but the Star Wars comics didn't keep my interest. My opinion may have to change thanks to this podcast by Shagg and guest Brett Young as they explore Star Wars #47. Maybe these are the droids I was looking for! π

It's the middle of the week, and I'm back at work, but the cure for all of it is a new episode of one of my favorite podcasts. Host Paul Kien and guest spotlight "the World's Most Dangerous Villains!" Enjoy!

It's almost Christmas, and what better way to celebrate than with Christmas comics! Santa Shagg and friends unwrap Starman #27 and Flash #73 and spread a little holiday cheer. Enjoy!

It's almost Christmas, so this spotlight on Kyle Rayner Green Lantern is perfectly timed. My own comic experience with Kyle is similar to Shagg's. I loved his run as the "new" 90's GL and it's fun to revisit these four issues. In brightest day, in blackest night...

During this busy time of the year, it's important to stop, catch your breath, and remind yourself how awesome the original Who's Who series from DC Comics was! With the dulcet tones of the Randomizer playing in the background, enjoy this latest episode by Rob and Shagg.

Here's something else to be thankful for. It's a brand new episode of Fantastic Pour where Brett Young makes a cocktail out of Yoo-hoo and discusses a JL of A comic where Santa gets blown up! How much more festive can you get??? π

I can't explain it. I could not get into the Star Wars comic from Marvel even though I was a huge fan of the movies. Now, many years later, I'm enjoying the heck out of a podcast ABOUT those same comics? It must be some kinda Jedi mind trick or something! π

I was actually hit by the news of Ace Frehley's passing more than I thought I would be. I was a KISS fan (somewhat briefly) when I was in elementary school. They were cool and different and "scary." I had this poster on my bedroom wall. I loved this poster.
