I'm sorry but the Academy Awards were a failure this year. I wasn't expecting Kokuho to win any categories against American films. It was far too esoteric compared to, well, Sinners and One Battle After Another. But it wasn't even *nominated* for International feature? Fuck off.

I am now in the top 250 in the world for 80s music trivia. It’s safe to say I know my Duran Duran from Billy Idol. But also much love to 80s music.

My Wingspan group has got to the point where a 150 score isn’t a guarantee of a win and I can’t help but feel, once again, that if there was a Wingspan world championships my entire group would be genuine competitors. For context: 100 is generally considered a “par” Wingspan score.

This week’s arcade retro game (and a nice red wine) is Tumble Pop. It’s no Snow Bros, but it is a very fine single screen platformer.
