Last week, I posted a pic of Kingdom of Bones discovered at the Waldorf Astoria. A longtime friend was in a library at a small village in Iceland (Nýheimar, population 2000) and asked about a certain author, who wrote a thriller set in their country.

Charlie and I went on an exploratory hike. Found a few Native American grinding rocks…and some ducks. Of course, Charlie found the ducks more interesting. What unusual discoveries have you made while hiking?

As many of you guessed from the prior post, the Sigma team has doubled in number. Meet Kilo and Foxtrot (Foxy). A couple “double doodle” sisters, who have proven to be “double" trouble—okay, actually they’ve been good pups. And as you can see in the pics, Charlie and Echo are adjusting.

I had a great conversation with AI scientists at Cold Springs Harbor Laboratory, where cutting-edge research is being conducted into the future of AI. I wrote a whole Sigma thriller on this subject (Crucible) a few years back, so I was excited to learn where AI is at today and in the future.

What’s the holidays without an overabundance of treats? Got this gift box of chocolates, hand-crafted locally, that I wanted to share. Not only are they handsome, they’re stupidly delicious. I especially loved the polar bear. It's too cute to eat—but I will.
