Rice Street Library was gifted a monarch egg by a gardening volunteer. Visitors watched it grow from tiny caterpillar to chrysalis—then, earlier today, emerge as a butterfly. We'll release it once it's ready to fly!

SPPL marks Pride Month with celebration, reflection, & care for our LGBTQIA+ community. Pride began as a protest, & the need to show up for one another hasn’t gone away. This June, and every day, we're committed to being a place where LGBTQIA+ people can see themselves, find connection, & feel safe.
