Picked up Dooneen today on what I didn’t realise was its release day - the booksellers seemed nervy, had to double-check that they were allowed to sell it to me and found there was only one display copy available in the shop. All in all quite an illicit-feeling purchase.

I don’t know who Liadan Ní Chuinn is, but anyone who calls out Zombie for the naive garbage song it is is in my good books.
