Last month on Saturday, August 23rd, the Niagara Palestine Coalition held a yard sale fundraiser for the Niagara Gaza Relief Fund in collaboration with the Grace Peace Group at Grace Mennonite Church. We are happy to report that the fundraiser was very successful, with over $5000 raised!

Join us on September 16th from 5–7 PM at Fine Grind Café as we honor the lives taken in the Sabra and Shatila massacre. Thousands of Palestinian refugees who had been displaced and forced into camps in Lebanon after the Nakba were massacred by Israel after seeking safety.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2 PM Storytime returns to The Hobby Shop Saint Kitts! Join us 401 St. Paul Street, downtown St. Catharines for storytelling and art, centred around Palestine and geared towards children. After we read a story together there will be time for art and connecting as a community.

For anyone interested in learning Tatreez, we still have kits available with supplies and instructions, and also other members happy to lend a hand as you begin. Regular attendance is not necessary, but we will gather in this space on the second Tuesday of every month so you can plan ahead!
