Not working on a book has been challenging. It's been a month since I finished mine and I've been feeling like there's a hole in my heart. But I need this break. It's evident when I try to work on something and I stare at the page. I used to end my day with writing. I feel incomplete without it.

Went to my niece's bday party on Sunday, caught something that made it hard for me to eat. Now, at five am, I finally feel like I can eat. Problem is, it's five am, and I haven't slept. I should probably sleep.

For the past three days my elbow has been hurting so much I couldn't sleep. I passed out around nine pm last night and woke up at four with the pain basically gone. Thank fuck, man. Nothing was helping. Doc gave me muscle relaxers for a joint issue. That helped none.
