This year was not the funnest year--but a lot of my uncommitted "non-resolutions" actually came through! I think that was the right call, so I'll try that again. I think 2025 will be a "survival mode" year rather than something more ambitious. That being said, it's gonna be important to play.

I have to confess. The Day After Tomorrow is an oddly comfy movie for me. I'm sure it hasn't aged incredibly well, but it still knocks me out.

Additionally finished the first playthrough of Nier Automata recently as well. This second playthrough so far feels real nice, and keeps me intrigued. I've gotten Endings A and G, so far. Nier has been one of those games where I get in long sessions then put down for a little while.

I play games so slowly...but I'm almost done with Chrono Cross. Thematically, I really appreciate the game, it continues to feel relevant and sincere. Do wish it felt like it stuck the landing a little better though. This last little bit before the Time Devourer is a little dense.
