Hard to believe my first annual assembly was eight years ago! I was able to attend thanks to the access fund scholarship. Privileged to be back for #hapc26 presenting two posters with three of our FM residents (one incoming geri fellow, and two incoming palliative fellows).

So excited to be back at the annual assembly in just a few days! Also so excited to make attending money soon so I can give to the access fund.

Really need to figure out how best to use this app in time for #hapc24… any particular tips?

If my first two months as a palliative fellow have taught me anything (and I’ve learned a lot, it’s that wow is there a need for primary palliative care education. Basic pain and symptom management, starting goals of care convos, and determining hospice appropriateness should be skills we all have.

First week of hospice and palliative medicine fellowship done, and I just can’t believe I get to do this as my job now.
