Good morning all, hope you have had a good start into the new week. This #BirdofTheDay, a European Sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus) is #LockedOn, staring at whatever (like myself to the weekend ;).

#BirdofTheDay shall be the #BestOfTheMonth today. Last weekend I got a lucky shot of a long-tailed tit (Aegithalos caudatus) near Marburg (Germany). Considering that these cute feather bundles normally never keep still, this might be my best of the decade 😂

Good Morning! #BirdOfTheDay is #BeautyInBrown - a rare sighting of a purple heron (Ardea purpurea) in the German Lower Rhine Area ( loosely speaking near Cologne). This was beautiful in many ways.
