my friend is running a mystery dungeon themed ttrpg, and made a deal with the players last week that if we got the pokemon we chose as a 1/4096 shiny before session 0, we could be shiny in-game. with less than 24 hours left and 2 phases, I got my Jangmo-o, and earned my shiny in the campaign. B)

on the second day of @xopy.standingintheodds.com 's fortnight bush day... I got a non bush shiny. my buddy has been hunting Tyrunt for 2 years, and i started hunting it casually last night to light a fire under his ass and get him moving again. caught her this morning, <250 encounters. sorry dakota.

went to a wedding this weekend, brought my pokewalker... made liberal use of the open bar, lost my pokewalker... FOUND MY POKEWALKER THE NEXT MORNING!!! arceus is real...

neat thing happened today while I was continuing phase 2 for budew; I got two beautifly in one encounter! they're both a 2% encounter on the route, so this is a 1/2500 occurrence. Current encounter total for this phase is 7130, so we're coming up on double odds!
