There has been a lot of anger and worry going around today over the classification of the LGBTQ+ community as domestic terrorists, so let me expand on it.

No matter the party, the gender, or the position, not one single person who has sexually abused another should be allowed in any form of government. Listen to survivors. They've already lived through hell, they shouldn't have to fight their way out.

Went to Springfield yesterday to be involved in the No Kings rally. The energy was ecstatic, people were angry but positive, and voices were heard. I thank all the organizers and speakers at this event. And I really appreciated the youth showing up as well! Change happens when we all are included.

To build off of this, the reason I fight for rural and small town trans and queer people is because I was unable to come out until I was 29. Up until then I really had no idea that transitioning was an option. Life moves slower in small towns. It's just a simple fact of life.

Went up to Dekalb today to try to get a tour of the Meta data center. A few things I noticed. For supplying hundreds of jobs, it was weird that there were only 4 cars in the lot on a Wednesday at 130 in the afternoon.

Last night I spent the evening with the wonderful Nicole Dopler, Kevin Lamm, Patrick Cortesi, and Paul Nolley in Wyoming for our town hall! Tons of amazing people and questions, all with an amazing community.

I just got home from my town hall. It was wonderful. Now, time to go shower and go to bed, because instead of being a senile jackass ranting about the clouds transing my Epstein island or whatever, I actually care about human beings and love my life, along with the rest of my community.
