Life has been a bit stressful as of late, but being around people and building community is absolutely helping. Realizing that I have trauma and admitting that I do has helped me reach out to the proper outlets.

Called out from work today. My grandmother was given days to live, and I can't take any chances... I need to be with her.

No, I'm far from okay. I'm angry, sad, and barely holding it together. Masking my emotions has only gotten me so far. I want to cry and just let it out, but no tears fall. I'm coming undone. But I hold on because I don't want to be alone.

No disrespect to my aunt, but why on earth is her dog barking this late in the hallway? I can't sleep at all... 🙃

I am struggling to find sleep these days.... and it sucks. I want to do so much, but I'm exhausted. Intrusive relatives and their non-stop probing..... It sucks.

I can't sleep again..... This sucks.

If there is something I stand for, it is justice. Justice for the marginalized, the oppressed, the disenfranchised, and the displaced. I believe survivors. I believe the victims. I believe my friends. I love them, and I want them safe to exist as they are. I disagree with hate and bigotry. ↙️↙️↙️
