As much as I don't think Tadgh Beirne or JGP will be 'past it' come RWC27, but they will both be 35 by then and will naturally need their minutes managed more. Ireland are still very reliant on both as well as Hugo Keenan who has had injury problems, those are 3 areas where the drop off is steep.

I have to do this when Ireland win a close rugby match too...

Plenty of issues to work on but grinding out an away win against Australia with a lot of changes bodes well for the World Cup. Similar kind of story to earlier in the year 'won by need to improve'.

At the moment it's raining in Dublin. Wet conditions would probably favour Bulls if it meant handling errors leading to scrums. URC had Leinster over 60% to win but I think it'll be tighter than that.

Leo has his critics but only missing out on making at least a semi-final in all but one occasion since 2018 (knocked out in the CC Quarter-Finals in 2020) is excellent consistency. Near misses are frustrating but other teams have shown going on two fronts every year is difficult.

Not a fan of the Ireland squad that's been named. Would've preferred this to be a window of experimentation amd giving new players time. We haven't addressed our issues at centre at all and we're over reliant on a few key players who are ageing.

Loosehead has been a curses position for Leinster this season, Jerry and Usanov have a big task ahead of them. If Doris and Sheehan are out it becomes much harder. Have to channel the same character from the La Rochelle win earlier in the year for Friday.

We've had no luck with injuries this season. Hopefully Doris and Sheehan are cleared. It's a big ask for Jerry and Usanov against a big Bulls pack.
