BREAKING — Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) staffers who were put on admin leave on Monday just got letters letting them know they’re a part of a Reduction in Force (RIF) and that their job will be “abolished” effective May 4th in accordance with Trump’s EO, per copy reviewed by me.

Thinking of that time I had to go to the fair grounds for packet pickup for a race (I think the BR Turkey Trot) and there was no way to walk on to the grounds safely…I had to enter on 38th and walk with the cars going in. Cars over people felt so odd for the fair grounds, especially in that context.
