🎬 Ehhh it’s entertaining but nothing special. Olivia Holt does a solid job and has decent chemistry with the romantic lead dude. It’s funny but not lol funny. Honestly the odds of anything ever overthrowing Tucker and Dale for horror comedy is slim.

🎬 This is an early 1960’s drive in creature feature and all that entails, masquerading as a late 70’s film. In other words - awful. The monster is only truly seen in the last few minutes. It’s a giant black turd with googley eyes.

🎬 Harrison Ford is probably the best actor in this pilot for a series that wasn’t picked up. Can’t imagine why - I mean the possession didn’t happen until 6 minutes left and was dealt with in about 2 minutes. PJ Soles is in it a bit as a cute high schooler.

🎬 Two stories - 1 King and 1 Barker. Both were decidedly meh. Cheap production with a flat style didn’t help. Not great.

🎬 Few werewolf movies are actually good. This is one of the good ones. The werewolf effects aren’t honestly as good as some others but that’s more than made up for in story, acting and actual tension.

🎬 Sterile, vapid and cold with needless CGI, like a lot of recent films. It’s a masterclass in everything wrong with recent filmmaking. I could go on awhile pointing out the areas of wrongness, but it’s all encompassing. Script, acting, directing, lighting, overuse of CGI, pacing… all of it.

🎬 A decidedly B movie that punches way above it’s weight due to the sheer talent involved. Joel Schumacher did a great job and really elevates this script. The design is very Burton Batman with a gothic Metropolis inspired main location - so I get why they thought he would be a good fit.

🎬 Excellent film that doesn’t waste one second of the 2:20 runtime. I’m not really a Tim Robbins fan but he does a wonderful job here. Really don’t have a single negative thing to say. It still currently sits as the highest rated film on IMdB. The greatest film ever? Nah. But it was fantastic.

🎬 Well this was terrible. There are 2 worthwhile scenes. One is toward the beginning involving a shower and the other is at the end. Everything else is super boring and terribly acted and directed.

🎬 Scott Derrickson can make a film. Absolutely fantastic escapist entertainment. Totally silly and improbable with plot holes galore BUT it’s got characters you absolutely care about - a love story. Excellent horror action after the wonderful setup. The set and creature design is also super cool.

🎬 What a strange documentary. Apparently Friedkin filmed a real exorcism - which was corny and kind of boring. Strikes me as strange a demon or Satan would just kind of annoy people and yell at priests rather than showing real power. What would be the point? Seems like a load of bunk.

🎬 Slow, confusing mess. Or maybe I’m just not Jewish enough to get it? It’s not scary just boring. What starts off strong gets mired in half explained folklore and ineffective jump scares. And really loud annoying music.

🎬 Military Roshomon but with lots more twists and turns. Pretty great mystery thriller. You have to pay attention to follow it but it’s worth it in the end.

🎬 Shatner Shatners hard and is just the tip of the crazy that this film puts together. Goat men, melting people, a young Travolta, and Anton LeVey. It’s absolutely fantastic in its awfulness. Loved it.

🎬 So Italian Nunsploitation films should have 2 things. Nudity (a lot) and blood. This one barely has either. This is a poor excuse for a Nunsploitation film. The creators should be ashamed of themselves.

RIP Mr. Redford. Go watch The Sting or Three Days of the Condor.

🎬 This is some pretty great low budget 70’s schlock. Put it on for the gratuitous nudity and decent sets and stay for the extremely long screaming scene.

🎬 Starts off incredibly disjointed and sort of stays that way. The script is about as far from polished as possible. However, once you get by the fact that this is pure garbage and just go with the ridiculousness of it and the massive amount of nudity, it’s a fun crazy ride.

🎬 There is a plot. You have to watch closely to find it among the copious amounts of nudity, but it is there. About a pair of sisters who sign up with a modeling agency which is really recruiting for a coven. I mean for what it is… it’s not terrible. Certainly better than Hammer fare of the time.

🎬 LAME. Incredibly tame and incredibly bad. (There is no sex in this film) They actually used the Monty Python police come in and arrest everyone ending because they couldn’t figure out what else to do I suspect. The plot was so bare bones there could be no natural ending.

🎬 Painfully unfunny which is bad for a “sex comedy”. Laura Gemser looks good but she is not worth the other hour 17 or so of boring garbage.

🎬 Wow was this terrible. The entire film is basically medium close to closeup with a fog washed background to hide that the budget was insubstantial. It’s supposed to be a suspense movie yet it’s cut like an action film which kills any suspense. It’s also confusing and makes little sense. Shame.

🎬 It’s almost impossible to understand the mumbling of the lead. Maybe if you could it wouldn’t be so mind numbingly boring and non-sensical until the last 10 minutes or so, when it sort of makes sense, kind of. Awful.

🎬 The computer stuff is nonsensical per usual. If you just go with it this is almost 3 hours that goes by in the blink of an eye. A couple of phenomenal set pieces with Cruise really just going for it since it’s the last outing. Really fun time.

🎬 The guys who did Talk to Me are back with a totally messed up crazy film, headed by a sweetly nice yet completely evil performance from Sally Hawkins. Fairly original idea that really works, with a mostly believable representation of ritual witchcraft and its aftermath. Good stuff.

🎬 Thriller that really doses you in the isolation and dread Maika Monroe experiences in the film. You basically know who the “bad guy” is the entire time and yet the creep factor is super high. Slow but never boring. Well done.

🎬 Applegate is great as the heroin addicted hooker (no sex) with a heart. She’s being chased by a psycho cop (modeled after Roy Batty) who she turned down and now wants to kill her and everyone who knows her. Dialog is atrocious. Other than that it’s not totally awful, mostly due to Christina.
