Listening to David Byrne's latest album a lot lately. At first it didn't quite hit, but weirdly that happens a lot with the songs I end up liking the most. But one thing I think that's really cool, is old musician continuing their old style, it's like a nostalgic portal to an older time.

I recently moved into a new room and I used this chance to reset my sleep habits, applying the usual sleep hygiene rules has helped a lot, especially not laying in bed when I'm not sleeping or trying to sleep, no phone in bed. I'm getting some of the best sleep I've had. But I'm still tired a lot.

It might sound silly, but one of the big principles in my life came from an anime (What's worse is I forgot the name of it). In any interaction, agreement, trade, etc, both sides should receive about the same value. I truly believe if more people/company followed this rule the world would be better.

I think one thing that really bugs me, is when people try to add their own spin or take to a story and then pass it off as journalism. Journalists should only report the unbiased truth, and leave the interpretation up to the readers. Muddying the water hurts your cause more than it helps, adds fuel.

Though, I don't think they can take money earned before the change in their policy. What hurts is that all of that money was freely given as donations by people who appreciated my games, and they want to take it from me. It's infuriating and unfair.

All of my games are free on itchio by default, but I've decided to set them all to No Donations mode. Ichio has added to their TOS that they may attempt to collect back any money made on projects that their payment processors don't like. I can't even take tips for my work, according to them.

It kinda feels like we now live in a world where sentiment doesn't matter anymore.

Man there is nothing more exhausting than trying to learn something new but then it's just broken out of the box and there's no resources for it. In this instance, trying to learn Unreal Engine but making C++ classes is just straight up broken for me.
