In 2019, I created #WhatAGameDevLooksLike after I was stopped by security 3(!!) times while picking up my speaker badge. I’m a small Asian woman with pink hair, and I guess I didn’t visually meet their expectations of a speaker. Ironically, I was at GDC to speak about inclusive studio cultures. 🫠

Reading the story of Kraftwerk - the music workers. Incredible to see how they were able to (and still) conect the current reality with the expectations for the future.. beyond many other legacies to music, art and their country. Great book. Btw the bookmark matched the book cover very well.

Starting a new Scope Review for my PhD and having some fun building the search string. For those of you who saw the string used in my master's thesis: it will be shorter 😅 - but still sharp.

Research question: Is there a difference in anxiety levels between people who wait for buses at highly visible versus less visible road locations? People waiting in less visible spots may need a quicker visual reflex and extra attention than those who can see the bus approaching from a distance 🤔

Today I've felt the age gap between me and my sister when she said she memorized the weekdays because of the song 'Seven' by Jungkook, while I memorized it with 'I got a feeling' by Black Eyed Peas 🫠
