I'm developing an action game where the core of the fun lies in trial and error. But many Japanese people are taught to see failure as something bad, and once they think, "I'm just a hopeless failure," the conversation ends there. That's why I'm struggling with how to communicate the fun to them.

I'm developing my game using RPG Maker 2003, which doesn't natively support Steam achievements. However, it seems there's a way to implement them, so I'm considering adding achievements. That said, I'm not sure how many people actually see Steam achievements as a goal worth aiming for.
