Day 8 of too much snow for walkies. He is still, reflective, taking it all in. We’ll get some steps in at dog-friendly stores today. He needs an outing.🐾

Tucker’s daycare dug little paths in the play yards for quick outside play sessions. It’s so cold. But these hooligans love their outdoor playtime!

This very good boy had to stay home from daycare because there is a foot of snow covering everything. Despite not getting his typical long walks, he was just so very good while I was facilitating calls all day. We played hide and seek during breaks with extra special treats to wear him out.❤️🐾

A super short freezing cold walk meant that today for the first time, Tucker encountered the robot in action. I’d say that went well!

It takes so long to get out the door in sub-zero windchill. I didn’t time it right this morning and ended up with all my layers on just waiting for this good boy to finish his distraction from putting boots on.😂 We’re expecting more than a foot of snow this weekend. Unprecedented for my city. 🥶

Proper Friday mood in progress. He’s been having the faintest little snoring sessions all morning.

I was browning some ground turkey and had to step away. No surprise here - I found Tucker snoopervising when I turned around.😂

Update: Apparently he didn’t hide it well enough to trust leaving the house without it. Our midday walk included his treasured “No Hide”.😂🐾

Carefully hiding his NO Hide chew again. He didn’t even chew it first this time. Just went straight to finding a good hiding spot.🙃🐾

One of my resolutions for the new year is to play more. So for the first walk of the year, Tucker and I visited a favorite spot that we haven’t frequented recently. It seems Tucker’s resolution is to sniff more.😂 Walkies were slow, but it’s a holiday. No need to rush. (🧵 1/2…)

I love him so. But on days like this it can be difficult to get our steps in. Every kid in the neighborhood is outside playing with their new bike or motorized car. Tucker is worried about missing out if he moves a muscle.

No 5am alarm this morning. He slept in and then jumped off the bed and assumed this position. Pretty sure he knows it’s a holiday.🤣🐾

This little guy is so loyal.❤️ He sat at my feet all day long while I made simmer pot jars, iced gingerbread cookies, wrapped gifts, dusted, vacuumed, laundry, washing dishes, etc... He is woofed.🐾 (🧵 1/2…)

Temps so cold this morning Tucker’s little paws couldn’t take it. So we brought his boots out of storage and he was SO excited! 😆

Our walks move so fast on snowy mornings. This guy was made for snow. ❄️

We were up early to beat the rain. He loved his walk on a long lead with time to sniff all the things. Now that it’s cold and rainy out there, we’ll just be right here catching up on couch snugs. 🐾

Every morning, Tucker runs downstairs and immediately checks on his backyard. Today, he was so excited to see a little snow on the ground and little birds hopping around right outside the door. His little nub was wagging all morning.🐾

My co-worker may be misinterpreting “casual Friday”. He spent the first 10 minutes of his workday deciding whether to lay on the couch or in the sunroom. Productivity went down from there.🐾

I swear all I did was *think* about a snack and he appeared looking so full of hope.

Luckily, we had booked separate sessions as well. Just a little photoshopping and we have a winner!

My sister and I thought it would be a good idea to get a holiday photo of all three of our pups. The session was hilarious and only two of the dogs cooperated enough to actually be in the photos. We’ll have a better plan next year. Here are the two most “usable” shots.😂🎄

I don’t think this guy will want to patrol in the morning. It was 45 F during his morning neighborhood watch today. Will be 31 F this evening and 24 F when we wake up tomorrow.🥶

Tucker had a Christmas photo shoot today. He was overly excited so many of the photos look like the second one, I’m sure.😂

I didn’t think it was possible. But my Friday coworker seems to have become even less productive.🐾
