Tucker found a little friend today. 🐢

This morning, Tucker chased rabbits out of our yard and then sat quietly watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. We passed a family of deer on our way to this park for a morning walk. And, of course, his obligatory zen moment before we can get back in the car.

I told him Grandma is coming over.❤️

I can actually hear her saying, “it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance” (with a British accent). Also, I believe she would like to be served a spot of tea, please. 🐾

Never met a dog who loves sitting on a bench as much as this guy.🐾

The sleepy Friday dilemma. How to supervise when you just want to lay your head down for a minute.

Tucker was at my Mom’s with us today when we all huddled around her and waited (a few times) for an iPhone timer to snap a family picture. He was sooo pleased with himself, as if he had finally herded us all successfully. 🤣 I think he was gloating. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas.

I was outside watering flowers and of course, this very good boy was inside supervising.

Someone PLEASE give that very good boy some booty scritches! He could not have asked more politely. What a sweetie.💜

A private investor purchased this land with intent to make it a protected public green space. Tucker approves of their progress so far. We’re excited to be a part of the transformation.

Sun and a nice breeze made our Saturday adventure walk extra nice today.☀️

Tonight, our walking path ran beside a local sports complex. Tucker had a baseball game off to the left, and a soccer game straight ahead. I had to bribe him with snacks eventually to get him to finish our walk. He just loves to supervise.

We love a good foldy mouth around here.🐾

These pretty blooms are not with us for long. We’re dipping down into the teens over the next few days. We’re trying to appreciate them while we can!

Some days, Tucker is more skeptical than usual. Today, for example, we had to “pull over” off the walking path every time he spotted a dog in the distance. He stared them down and sometimes decided to just sit until after they had passed. Other times, he decides right away that he wants to play.

There are still good things happening in the world. Proof - a small fluffy shepherd calmly watches the river roll by below while sniffing the first flowers of spring.🐾

He found the first daffodils of the season today! And it seems he would like to meet the gardener.😂 He nearly pulled me up the steps to their front door.🐾

If you want the tea on any of our neighbors, just ask this guy. He doesn’t miss a thing.🐾

We had a shockingly beautiful 80 degree sunny day. So you know who officially declared porch season open for business.

My work involves supporting global initiatives. I’m always a little worried during calls that occur outside daycare hours that Tucker might start barking. Thankfully, during this morning’s session with executives, he was just busy waiting for belly rubs.🥹
