Decided to check the top played games, on Steam, at the moment. The top games haven't changed much but wow, Terraria is killing it right now. I just started playing it for the first time. So, that's neat. Yet, other than Arc Raiders, not a lot of "new" games trending right now.

Now that I'm streaming again, still haven't figured out which game to put time into. New games are fun but honestly, I stopped giving a shit about the latest and greatest a while back. Hell, I downloaded Final Fantasy Renaissance again. Anyway, I'll figure something out.

Very cool! Glad they are continuing the series. Especially, that these last few arcs are the last Toriyama had a hand in. RIP The animation better be on point. Some big things happen in these arcs.

What Valve did with Proton, is pretty amazing. Even forks of Proton like Proton GE and DWProton, have made once unplayable games on Linux run perfectly. Hell, a lot of my games run better now than it did on Windows 11. Linux still has issues but man, it's so much easier now. #gaming #linux

The new BlueSky feature that showcases when you're live on Twitch, is neat. Yet, there doesn't seem a way to just set and forget. You have to actively set it each time. Hopefully, one day, you can just add your Twitch, and it just triggers when you go live.

At the rate things are going, Linux usage will continue to climb. Which will just make it better. It'll never overtake Windows but honestly, in a few years, if a sizable set of the gamer/tech enthusiast cross over it'll make a huge impact in how gaming and Windows corps act.

Now 35 pounds from my goal weight. Which is under 200. Only going to get harder but goal is to get there by late June. Which is more than doable. 💪🏾

My gaming habits have turned towards indie and retro games. While few new games get my attention, I've been more inclined to play something like Wizardry. I'm fine waiting years for new games that peak my interest. This mindset has made me reexamine my backlog, in a good way.

While I’m generally all for people getting a chance to play games for themselves, the whole “make up your own mind” thing that Call of Duty and now Splitgate have done in an attempt to counter the (earned) negative sentiment around their games just stinks of desperation.

I haven't had much time to really play Soulframe but what I've played, is good. I also got it working on Linux. CachyOS specifically. Runs well too. So really happy about that.

Other than the few multiplayer games with invasive anti-cheat, all my games have worked on CachyOS. Actually, worked even better than before, in some cases. Had to fiddle a bit with the Heroic launcher for GOG and Epic stuff. Yet, all good now. Pretty neat. #linux #gaming

With prices of PC parts going through the roof, I'm glad I own what I do now. I just pray that nothing breaks. 4070 Super, Ryzen 5800X, and 32gb DDR4 ram. Still very solid build and will last me for years. Yet we all know, even if prices drop later, it'll never be like before.

Two months ago, I couldn't even do 5 minutes on the stair climber. Even at level 2 speed. Now did 20 minutes. Half at level 4 and the other half at level 5. Now off to the elliptical. 💪🏾

Jumped back into using CachyOS for my personal OS. Have two drives with Win11 on them, just for work. My other drives are just CachyOS now. I had to do some tinkering upon reinstall. Yet, all works great now. I even got Affinity and Davinci working just fine. Which is big.
