Did you know that from 15th October to 10th November, and at other festive periods, traders without license - like supermarkets - can sell fireworks? 💥 Fireworks are dangerous explosives, they should not be marketed like toys in the same spot as the sweets and crisps.

What a day! A deer was trapped in our garden from 11:30 until 18:30 when some kind animal rescue people came. I barked all day asking to go out and "help it" I even removed the blinds trying to get a better look... so I could see it was alright 😉.Now exhausted!

🎆 The Fireworks Bill is in front of Parliament again today - but sadly there wasn't time for it to be debated. I am working hard with local authorities, and am pleased to say we have made good progress locally. I will keep fighting both in Luton and Parliament to get this change through.

If we don't get the time to debate, I will be asking for a new date, and in that time will continue to take this cause to the government. I will keep pressing on behalf of pet owners, people with PTSD or SEND, young families and shift workers, or anyone who just wants a good night's sleep.

Over the last few months, I've heard from hundreds across the country, and MPs from all parties, urban and rural, that our fireworks laws aren't working, it's causing havoc for people's lives. Today I hope we debate my Bill to ban the loudest from sale, tighten licensing, and review online sales.
