A City Hall contact told me there’s been another privacy breach by staff. I can’t verify it yet, but after having my own personal info exposed by this City, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised. #HamOnt still hasn’t adopted the basic privacy-by-design protections every resident should expect.

I’ll be at City Hall this week outlining the root causes behind a decade of bylaw neglect in #HamOnt and the systemic decay allowed to grow beside Memorial School. This isn’t one missed inspection; it’s structural failure. If you care about real fixes, tune in Wednesday.

London, Ontario is creating a tiny homes shelter - with the modular homes being built right here in Stoney Creek. Hamilton City Hall infamously disqualified local companies for the Barton/Tiffany site. Hamilton instead bought low-quality made-in-China shipping containers at higher cost.

Congratulations to Rob Cooper on winning the Ward 8 by-election in #HamOnt. He ran a strong campaign and overcame the left flank of Council, which had thrown its weight behind another candidate. The political winds in this city have clearly shifted.

It’s budget season in #HamOnt Attached is the proposed preliminary Hamilton Police Service 2026 budget. I often hear questions from neighbours about police spending, and I often share those questions myself. Reviewing these documents is how I keep informed about where our money is going.

The City of #HamOnt is targeting a resident for having security cameras on his porch, yet they’ve turned a blind eye to cameras at an illegal business openly selling drugs around the clock in Ward 3. That double standard is unacceptable.

#HamOnt residents, the homeless and every voter should remember: The Microshelter project ran 300% over budget. Millions were wasted because of inadequate scrutiny of an obviously bad deal. That money should have gone to help more people get housed. Council failed everyone involved.
