Drinks with the exquisite @Romanescence_ was a highlight of Paris and left me dreaming of becoming more closely acquainted... I love our international sorority 🥰

As I keep saying to Faye Dalloway, 'There is a lot of character development in Season 2.' (And she's heard it before, but I still clarify, 'We're now in Season 2.')

Always a treat to spend an evening at the ROH - Britten's music has these incredible moments of haunting, crystallised stillness;"Now the Great Bear and Pleiades..." might be one of my favourite opera moments. An experience made all the more special for having one of my very best friends on stage 🥰

Got a bit of a high slipping back into teacher mode when a lover came and played me his current repertoire. I hadn't realised I miss teaching so much. But then I never had a student turn up with roses and afterwards follow me to the bedroom. 🎹

Maru deserving of its own post as my first omakase experience: an epic journey through 18 exquisitely crafted courses... yet the highlight was still bumping into each other downstairs 😉

Credit to the man who engineered the circumstances under which I finally announced that, upon occasion, I might possibly be a little bit of a raging lesbian... (@fayedalloway completely and utterly shocked, it may have ruined our friendship)

Incurable romantic that I am, I've always been exceptionally fond of flowers, so nothing could have surprised and delighted me more than a bouquet of lilies delivered to my door. My room smells like lilies now 🥰

After hearing my museum rant he said he'd always think of me when he saw a 'Do Not Touch' sign, which is just about the most romantic thing I've ever been told... Looking forward to more-and-merrier frolicking with @fayedalloway this weekend 😘
