After my flight cancellation last night, then 12hrs in the Vegas airport, I’m finally back in KC. Luckily, I had a very recent visit that had me in such a happy place w/a lot of amazing visual memories to distract me, it was like a buffer so didn’t lose my mind 🌹

Connecting flight in Las Vegas gets cancelled. Earliest flight they can rebook me is for 6:55pm the next day. 22hrs later. No compensation for hotel, no nothing. Amazing. 🤬

Prostate surgery finished. Only mild discomfort. Gotta spend about 2hrs in recovery, then 3-5 days of no activity or heavy lifting. I can make it 1 or 2 days, but day 3 I’ll have to do something or I’ll go crazy.
