#34 finished in 2025 Octopath Traveller SWITCH JRPG of epic proportions. 8 unique stories that intertwine. Fantastic music and great battle system that gets better the more you explore it. Terrific characters and smart but also funny dialogues. You will lose dozens of hours in this game Great play!

#33 finished in 2025 Genji PS2 Slasher set in feudal Japan. Mysticism meets samurais in classic story of conquer and demons. 2 payable characters, plant of weapons, and interesting combat solutions. Pretty short but fun to play throughout. The combat sections could have been stretched out longer.

#32 finished in 2025 Stranglehold X360 John Woo movie - the game. We have Chow Yun Fat, a classic story, plenty of shooting, and outrageous moves and jumps. Mow through a battalion of enemies sliding up or down the ramps, bouncing of the walls, and jumping in slow motion. Great blockbuster "movie"

#31 finished in 2025 Bonk's Revenge TURBOGRAFX MINI Classic platformer with interesting character who headbutts his way through 6 levels. As classics platformers go, it starts easy and turns into controller breaker. There are plenty of secrets and challenges. Overall, it is enjoyable.

#30 finished in 2025 Rogue Flight PS5 Space shooter that resembles Star Fox in its gameplay. Special moves, a variety of weapons, and a number of stages ending with a large boss fight. Interesting visuals with 80s vhs filter and synthwave music. Story is there to keep you going. Very nice play.

#29 finished in 2025 Smashing the Battle SWITCH simplistic formula with very basic story that's honestly not worth keeping up with. The game is very much focused on grinding and upgrading your characters as skill is not enough to progress. Very repetitive the more you play.

#28 finished in 2025 Curse of the Serpent King XSX Dungeon crawler with simple premise. Procedurally generated tombs. Walk around, fight monsters, find keys, open the gate to final boss. You gain experience to increase stats and find gold to buy more powerful weapons. It's simplistic but can be ok.

#25 finished in 2025 Beyond Good and Evil XSX Unmistakable vibe of an early 2000's game (it was made back then after all) but also unquestionable greatness. Fleshed out characters, unique world, terrific story, and great gameplay. Everything works. Shame we may never get the sequel it deserves.

#27 finished in 2025 Robocop Unfinished Business PS5 Another addition to Robocop universe. New story, different location, more characters, same good Robocop gameplay. Bigger focus on Acton, more enemies, and refined gameplay. Interesting story that expands the lore. Had ton of fun with this one.

Gameplay wise, it's more of the same with a few additional enemies and one new weapon/ mechanic. Doesn't overstay its welcome and has an interesting story.

#23 finished in 2025 Link's Crossbow Training WII There's no story, but for a game that shocases the Wii Zapper, a lot of effort was put in. There's levels where you shoot targets but also ones where you have full control of Link. Pretty straightforward but challenging to get higher scores.

#22 finished in 2025 Brutal Legend PS3 Jack Blackbstars in a game telling a story as if taken straight from Tenacious D's songs. Fantasy world full of heavy metal characters, heavy metal stories, and heavy metal music. The soundtrack is an absolute killer if you're a fan of heavy guitar riffs.

#20 finished in 2025 Haze PS3 An FPS that doesn't discover anything new through its gameplay. It's solid enough not to be frustrating but missing something to become great. Storyline brushes on great themes, making you question your actions all the way to the end. Decent enough for quick play.

Not really on rails as it gives you certain freedom of movement around the map and traversal in later levels. Simple graphics but enough for what's intended. #18 finished in 2025 Dracula the Undead Evercade Point and click adventure set in Dracula's castle. Figure out how to escape by traversing locations and combining items found along the way. You can tell the graphics looked better on a smaller screen of Atari Lynx. Interesting and worth a play.

Make sure all guests are happy, but also be careful who you let inside. There's overall charm oozing and it wants you to play more of it. #2025completions
