I’m not anti-e-bike. I support more people using shared trails because that leads to more funding. E-bikes help many riders, especially those with disabilities, but most people can build the fitness to enjoy a regular bike with time and will be fitter and go farther for doing so.

Drivers of 4 wheeled entitlement machines always remember the 20 seconds they spent behind a bike and forget the 20 minutes they sat in traffic caused by… cars. Cars are wide, long, and usually carry one person. The more space each person takes, the more bottlenecks you create.
